Greetings, on this Christmas Eve, I've decided to share with you some reflection on this pass year. I wrote a similar blog post last year on this same day. ("Goodbye 2014") 2015, was suppose to be a very big year for me and while my art continued to grow, things in my personal life brought me back down to Earth. Most recently losing my father-in-law. My mother being diagnosed with Breast Cancer and then beating it in the same year and a few other things that forced me to cancel shoots or to not care much about doing any photography at all. I did make it into magazines this year, but with all that was going I didn't really care about it. My focus for this year shifted to family in a big way. I don't regret it at all because I would make this decision again. Now heading into 2016, it will be a tough one. I have to bounce back from a bad year. I entered last year on a serious high and this one I am just feeling neutral. As I write this I am currently going through a creative block. I do have some plans coming up that I really can't say right now, but I am excited about.

So for next year why don't we just let what happens, happens?

Let me drop some positives things that happened this year...

  • Worked with fellow Photographer Manny Arroyo
  • New York shoots are always awesome
  • Published my 3rd book
  • Made it into magazines
  • Worked with Artist JDello

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

I am going to go back to swinging on my chandelier now...
